Xeomin

What is

xeomin?

Xeomin is a pure form of the botulinum toxin type A called incobotulinumtoxinA. What makes Xeomin unique as opposed to its neurotoxin counterparts is that it does not contain preservative proteins like Dysport and Botox. For some patients, these preservative proteins become the reason why their anti-wrinkle injections lose their effectiveness over time, as the body develops antibodies and grows resistant to treatment. Fortunately, Xeomin is a fantastic solution for individuals who are having this experience. Since it does not contain preservative proteins, the body is far less likely to develop antibodies and become resistant to treatment.

What To Expect From

YOUR XEOMIN TREATMENT

Prior to treatment, our compassionate care team will sit down with you to discuss your goals for Xeomin and determine if it is the right product for your aesthetic needs. From there, treatment will be administered through a small needle, injected into the areas of concern. The entire process usually takes 30 minutes or less and causes very little discomfort. After your appointment, you may resume normal activities, but need to avoid laying down for at least 4 hours to prevent the product from migrating into unwanted areas. These injections may cause minimal bruising and swelling which can be remedied with a cold pack.
